Mercier therapy involves an external pelvic massage technique that aims to improve organ mobility, rejuvenate pelvic blood circulation, and optimize the vitality and operation of your pelvic organs. Crafted to nurture your body and cultivate your fertility, it offers a holistic approach to your health journey.
Mercier Therapy
Mercier Therapy is a specific abdominal massage designed to help your organs move better and improve the blood flow in your pelvic area. This can make your reproductive organs work their best, just like they're supposed to. It is non-invasive, gentle, and done externally. It is beneficial to anyone facing fertility challenges, pelvic pain, gynecological surgery recovery, or those with a history of C-section or traumatic birth experiences. Dr. Nadia was trained directly by Dr. Mercier.
Holistic Fertility Support
Structural issues in the pelvis and abdomen can be hidden causes of fertility challenges. Mercier Therapy brings ease and healthy blood flow to the uterus and ovaries so you can move past the obstacles that are preventing you from conceiving. It is non-invasive, more cost effective than IVF, and more emotionally supportive for the couple by allowing them to be active participants in their fertility journey. It can be used as a stand alone regime, in conjunction with chiropractic and vaginal steaming, or in preparation for medically assisted cycles.
A four-year evidence-based research study conducted by Dr. Jennifer Mercier concluded an over 83% success rate of conception as a stand-alone program and an 87% success rate of conception when used along a medically assisted cycle. What is the Shared Fertility Journey?
The Shared Fertility Journey is a 6-week program, typically performed with one 60-minute Mercier Therapy session per week. This gentle, non-invasive visceral manipulative technique is done abdominally and does not require internal vaginal work.
Our fertility program is customized to fit your unique needs. During your initial consultation, you can expect to discuss your health history and life experiences in order to explore possible contributing factors to your fertility challenges. The consultation also includes a gentle, external pelvic organ mobility evaluation.
Mercier Therapy and can be used as a stand-alone regime or in preparation for a medically assisted cycle such as ICI, IUI, or IVF. We highly recommend that you prepare your body properly prior to starting any medically assisted fertility cycle to help increase the likelihood of a successful first cycle. The Shared Journey can be completed in time for your stim or IVF start.
If you are working to conceive on your own or utilizing at home ICI, you will be guided to monitor your ovulatory cycle along with our help for up to one year after your Mercier Therapy sessions end.
For people coming in from out of the area, or those with an upcoming stim cycle or procedure scheduled, the timeline can be condensed to as little as a 4-day weekend.
Please note: Mercier Therapy cannot not be performed if you are taking medications to stimulate your ovaries for an egg retrieval. Medications such as Femara and Clomid also have a stimulating effect on the ovaries, and therefore while taking those medications, Mercier Therapy cannot be performed.
The Shared Journey Fertility Program includes:
Initial consultation
6 hours of bodywork divided into weekly sessions
